🌿 Chicken Spring Rolls with Ginger Sauce
Fresh & Crispy Asian-Inspired Appetizer
Chicken Spring Rolls are crisp, golden rolls stuffed with tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and herbs. Served with a zesty Ginger Sauce, they make a perfect appetizer or light meal. Optional: add Yumino Dried Ginger for extra kick in the sauce or garnish.
🧾 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
For the Spring Rolls:
- 12–14 spring roll wrappers
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cabbage, finely shredded
- ½ cup carrot, julienned
- ½ cup red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Ginger Sauce:
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger (or ½ tsp Yumino Dried Ginger, optional)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
👩🍳 How to Make
Prepare the Filling:
- Heat sesame oil over medium heat. Sauté cabbage, carrot, and bell pepper for 2–3 minutes until slightly soft.
- Add shredded chicken, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Assemble the Rolls:
- Lay a spring roll wrapper flat. Place 2–3 tbsp of filling near one edge.
- Fold sides inward and roll tightly. Repeat for remaining wrappers.
Cook the Rolls:
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry spring rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels.
Prepare the Ginger Sauce:
- Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, ginger, sesame oil, and garlic in a small bowl.
Serve:
Place spring rolls on a platter and serve with ginger sauce on the side. Optionally, sprinkle some chopped Yumino Dried Ginger on top for extra flavor.
