🧾 Ingredients (Serves 3–4)
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 500 g chicken breast or thighs, sliced
- 1 cup Yumino Dried Tart Cherries
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2–3 tbsp sugar or honey
- ½ tsp brewed saffron
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp cardamom
- Salt & black pepper

👩🍳 How to Make Cherry Chicken Rice
- Soak dried cherries in warm water for 20 minutes and drain.
- Sauté cherries in butter with sugar or honey for 3–4 minutes until glossy.
- Sauté onions in olive oil until golden. Add chicken, spices and saffron; cook until tender.
- Boil rice until 70% cooked and drain.
- Layer rice, chicken and cherries in a pot.
- Cover and steam on low heat for 30–35 minutes.
